Players find themselves in a hot, semi-arid lowland with no access to trading routes. Instead, players must fight to control the center of the map where there are plenty of Rhea and Guanco to hunt as well as llamas to tame. The Chaco Plain is very open! The Trade Route will have three Trading Post sites. Control the more dense forests near the edges of the map to supplement your late-game wood gathering, or rely on the scattered clumps of trees out on the plains.
